After a much awaited time, we are glad to announce the first issue of “SIDDHARTHA SPEAKS” an Alumni newsletter of Siddhartha School Stok. Today on 8th August 2016, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama inaugurated the newsletter during his visit to our dear school.
We are so blessed to get this newsletter inaugurated through the hands of His Holiness. Heartiest thanks to His Holiness and to our founding director Khen Rinpoche Kachen Lobzang Tsetan for making this possible.

This publication consists of stories from Siddhartha School community; its achievements, opinions, teacher/student/parent profiles, artworks, events, photographs, interviews and alumni profiles, and experiences, and much more!
From the month of May 2016 until August, several alumni volunteered at the school and conducted various events and interacted with the students. They helped them by counseling and sharing their personal experiences.
The whole program was quite fruitful, and credit goes to all the alumni who spent their precious time at the school and made this year’s projects and program a success.
As an editor of this newsletter, it was my privilege to work with Laura Kozaitis, SSP’s Executive Director, Yeewen New, a dynamic US volunteer, and my alumni mates. Special thanks to all of them and the Siddhartha School Project for funding our program.
Finally, great appreciation goes out to all the staff and students over at the school. We are looking forward to continuing more projects in the days to come.
