The DATE CHANGE is good, read why!

We are thrilled that after two years of pandemic delay, the Siddhartha School will celebrate its Silver Jubilee on campus. Originally scheduled for Friday, July 15, our founder Khensur Rinpoche moved the date to July 14 to honor the arrival of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to Ladakh for his Summer visit. We hope that you can join us as we celebrate over 25 years of education for the children of Ladakh. Khensur Rinpoche and our principal Dechen Wagmo will play important roles in welcoming His Holiness on his return to Ladakh. Two days of celebration not to be missed.

Come to Ladakh This July and Celebrate
Siddhartha School’s 25th Anniversary with Us!

We are thrilled to announce that after two years of pandemic delay, the Siddhartha School will celebrate its Silver Jubilee anniversary on campus! Our founder, Khensur Rinpoche Lobzang Tsetan, has designated Friday, July 14, for the commemorative event. We hope you can join us at the school for a day of activities, presentations, and performances aimed at rejoicing over the two and a half decades of providing the children of Ladakh with a modern, well-rounded education that recognizes the importance of preserving culture and heritage.

Siddhartha School
1995-2022

In 1995, the first version of the school was a single rented room, with just 21 students and one teacher (pictured above). And over the last two decades, we have grown into an institution that educates over 400 students each year.

We believe that education passes through and beyond each student, supporting and uplifting their families and the community at large. Since its opening, thousands of children have passed through the school gates, and their experience at Siddhartha School has affected thousands more. As a supporter of the school, you are a crucial part of that story, and we hope you embark on a trip of a lifetime to Stok, Ladakh, India, and join in our celebration.

Two Trip and Travel Options
