Dear Supporters,
As follow-up to our communication of May 13, 2026, we would like to share a wonderfully positive update on our fund development efforts.
On the evening of May 13, longtime supporters of our mission contacted us to let us know that they would like to bring their GivingTuesday support early to SSP. Rather than a GivingTuesday gift, which falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, they generously put forth a matching gift of $42,000 to be made for any support made to the Siddhartha School Partnership from donations outside of our sponsorship program. This matching gift will expire on December 31, 2026.
We also are happy to share that since sending our communication, supporters have stepped forward with gifts totaling $25,800. These gifts will be put toward the matching gift.
Every act of generosity helps provide stability for the students, teachers, and families who rely on the school. We are abundantly grateful for each gift of support.
We welcome your questions and reflections, and we will keep you informed about our progress and fund-raising efforts. Thank you for believing in the children of Ladakh and for being an important part of the Siddhartha School family.
