We know our teachers are our greatest asset. Their heroic efforts to bring remote education to our students during the COVID-19 pandemic have underscored this fact. Each year, 79% of our organization’s yearly operating budget is spent supporting teachers’ salaries, maintaining the schoolrooms they teach in, and obtaining the supplies required to educate the children of Siddhartha School. That is why we created the Fund for Teachers.
This year, 100% of your donation goes to filling the Fund for Teachers. It’s a permanent, sustaining fund that provides fair-wage salaries, safe schoolrooms, and educator supplies for our teachers.
