Dear Friends,
This note is to let you know that Rinpoche is having a right knee replacement tomorrow, May 17th at 7:30 am Mountain Time (9:30 am EST). We plan to send you a follow-up email by the evening to let you know how he is doing. His doctors report that he is in excellent health, and they expect him to recover well and enjoy great improvement in his mobility.

The monks of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery and the children of Siddhartha School will be praying for him beginning this evening. Some of his students have requested a copy of his long life prayer and other auspicious prayers for recitation. For your convenience, here is a link to download Rinpoche’s long life prayer. Naturally, Rinpoche has told me that whatever your spiritual orientation, he appreciates all the good wishes and is in high spirits.
