March 5: An Auspicious Return to School
on the Founder’s Birthday

March 5 marked a joyful return to Siddhartha School. The day carried special meaning as it coincided with the birthday of the school’s founder, Khensur Rinpoche Lobzang Tsetan, making the start of the new term feel particularly auspicious.
The schoolyard quickly filled with the familiar rhythm of voices and laughter. Children greeted one another after the long winter break, eager to share stories and reunite with friends. Kataks were offered, cake was shared, and the day unfolded with songs, prayers, and plenty of giggles.

Classrooms brimmed with energy as students settled back into their routines. We also welcomed a new class of kindergartners, many stepping onto the campus for the very first time. Teachers and students alike spent the day reconnecting, preparing materials, and setting intentions for the months ahead.

It was a warm and joyful beginning to the school year, marked by camaraderie, celebration, and the shared excitement of learning together once again.

We look forward to bringing you updates from campus, and Siddhartha School Partnership sends all good wishes to the students, staff, and teachers for the term ahead.
