A Gold Medal for Alum Stanzin Jampal!
Since 2020, the Khelo India Winter Games (KIWG) have brought athletes and sports enthusiasts together in Leh, Ladakh, India. As a national-level, grassroots event, KIWG showcases a diverse range of winter sports, including alpine and Nordic skiing, snow rugby, snow baseball, mountaineering, snowshoe running, ice hockey, figure skating, and speed skating.
This year, the Siddhartha School had a proud moment as one of our alums, Stanzin Jampal (pictured above on the bottom right), who was sponsored by Peter Debrency, and his team won gold 🏅 in mixed relay speed skating at the 2025 Khelo India Winter Games! We celebrate his incredible achievement and the spirit of determination and teamwork that led to this victory.
