Miss Nidhi Muthane is originally from the vibrant city of Bangalore in Karnataka State, India, and for the past five years has worked in Ladakh. As a third-year LDOE (Leadership, Development, and Organizational Effectiveness) student, she brings a lot of fresh ideas to this position. Drawn to the serenity of the Himalayan mountains and the warmth of its people, she has found a deep sense of purpose and belonging in the region, a place that has shaped her identity in ways she never imagined, profoundly influencing her values to promote compassion, generosity, and peace.

Now serving as the vice principal cum counselor at Siddhartha School, she is deeply committed to creating meaningful, compassionate, and inclusive learning spaces. With her dual focus on academic leadership and emotional well-being, she aims to work hand in hand with the local Ladakhi board members, the respected principal, the teaching staff, and the student body to create a nurturing

environment where every learner feels seen, heard, and empowered. Nidhi advocates for compassion as the highest form of communication—a principle she weaves into her leadership style and interactions. Her background in social work and mental health allows her to integrate empathy, reflection, and resilience-building into the school culture.

Whether supporting students through counseling or working with educators to build stronger classrooms, Nidhi is passionate about transforming educational spaces into ecosystems of care, growth, and community. The Siddhartha School Partnership warmly welcomes Miss Nidhi Muthane to the role and sends all good wishes for her success!

Haneal Kebede will be instrumental in managing and building up our beloved Student Sponsorship program. Her dedication will be key in ensuring the opportunity for all Ladakhi children to attend the Siddhartha School, regardless of their economic circumstances.

While based in Southern California, Haneal hails from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and brings a deep passion for serving underserved communities through her work.

Alongside her commitment to our mission, she also offers a dynamic and sharp set of analytical skills to our team. The Partnership is incredibly excited to have Haneal’s expertise and passion contribute to the growth and impact of our Student Sponsorship program. Welcome aboard, Haneal!
