School Is Back in for the Fall 2022 Session!
We Welcome Our Staff, Teachers, and Students Back from Their Summer Rest, and We Catch Up with a Few of Them to Hear Highlights about Their Break
Jullay,
My name is Tsering Yangtso. I am six years old and I am in Upper Kindergarten (UKG). I live in Chushot village, which is very near to my school. The favorite thing I did is that we had an annual family picnic at our house garden where I enjoyed a lot of dancing and having yummy food! I am happy to see all my friends back at school and hear what fun they had.
Jullay,
My name is Sonam Dolkar. I am 14 years old, and I am a grade eight. I basically live in a small but beautiful village called Mudh in the Changthang region of Ladakh. The favorite thing, in fact the most satisfying thing I did during my summer holidays, is that I helped my mother at her small stationery shop in Choglamsar, and I know I helped her to get some relief. Also, I feel so blissful to attend three days of teachings of His Holiness Dalai Lama, where he delivered teachings of Shantideva and Buddha of Compassion.
Jullay,
My name is Stanzin Lundup. I am 11 years old. I live in a beautiful village called Meeru, which is located on Leh-Manali national highway. The favorite thing I did during summer holidays is that there is a small and beautiful pond near my house where I often go for swimming with my friends. I am happy to be back at school to see my friends and favorite teachers.
Jullay,
My name is Stanzin Chosgyal. I am four years old and I am in nursery grade. I live in Zanskar which is very far from Leh, but my father works in Agling village (Leh). The favorite thing I did during summer vacation is that I enjoyed playing with my friends there in Agling.
