Featured: Watch Tsewang Chuskit’s High School Graduation Speech

Tsewang Chuskit graduated from Siddhartha School in March of 2013 and became the first girl from Ladakh’s Chang Tang region to complete high school in the USA.

Thanks to a very generous scholarship from the Rockland Country Day School in Congers, New York, and the help of many kind individuals, she flourished at her new school and graduated with honors on June 17th, 2016.

She will attend Smith College this fall, and spends her summers in remote villages of the Chang Tang giving workshops on adolescent health education and girls leadership empowerment.
